Do you have the time, enthusiasm and long-term commitment to become a Parish Councillor?

For just a small amount of your time; one, evening meeting a month lasting one to two hours and a few minutes a day checking e-mails; you have the opportunity to help the Community to improve the facilities and the services where you live.

Now is your chance, following the retirement of a long-standing Councillor, Warehorne have a vacancy

To qualify you must be a British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen, 18 or over and able to meet one or more of the following: -

  • You are on the electoral register for the Parish, or
  • Have owned or tenanted land or premises in the Parish for the previous twelve months, or
  • During the whole of the twelve months before that day their principal or only place of work has been in the Parish, or
  • During the whole of the twelve months before that day they have resided in the Parish or within three miles of it.

Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month; excluding August and December; at 6pm in the Village Hall.
